ROCKETSANTA 4K

A simple game, which I didn’t have the time to fully finish.
The goal is to simply deliver the presents to the required place. Press
The terrain and the houses are randomly generated and thus if you don’t like the current terrain restart the game to generate a new one.
Judge’s Comments
Michael: Your guess is as good as mine, people. This was supposed to be a game where, I assume, Santa flies over a city and drops presents for people. All I could get Santa to do was fly directly into the ground, throwing presents as he went. Something is broken here.
Chris: At first I thought it was lander because the controls were so ’slow’. Turns out you must deliver presents. The controls really make this hard to like, because Santa on a rocket should be zooming around.
Panayoti: Non-intuitive gameplay combined with buggy controls makes for a bad match. I eventually figured out what I was supposed to be doing it never transcended basic frustration.

HanClinto
Hilarious concept of a game.
The particle effects and the physics of throwing the presents were nice touches — I really liked how the presents were thrown with my ship’s momentum added to theirs.
I found myself wanting to buzz the houses and make daring present-chimney-slam-dunks.
A bit more work on the controls, a level-based countdown timer, and penalties for missed shots would have made this an excellent game.
Thanks for your entry — it was fun to play!
