Michael: This is a great idea that has a pretty hefty flaw in my estimation. A 3×3 grid lays in front of a castle. Using the numpad, you flip sections of the grid (that would correspond to the number locations, of course) to match the color of attackers heading at the castle. Color match=damage to the attacker. The gameplay is fun and fast and manic… and totally useless on a laptop. I want to love it, but this exclusion of a whole chunk of gamers is critical.
Chris: Ikaruga Defense! I like the idea, maybe it gets a bit too hard too fast. I like the gameplay ideas though, very unique.
Panayoti: A novel entry! I really liked the premise and the mix of bad guys and how to deal with them made me chuckle when I figured it out. The game definitely had quite the frustration factor at first when I was trying to figure out how to play. I wish it just used a mouse interface. It’s more fun than most of the crappy tower defense games out these days. Good stuff!
